General Medicine
With over 55 years of collective veterinary experience between our two doctors, we effectively diagnose and treat a variety of illnesses. We treat both acute illnesses and chronic conditions. Utilizing many resources in our hospital including our state of the art radiographic technologies and select in-house lab work, we can provide the necessary medical attention needed to treat your pet on site.
Appointments
Our appointments are scheduled so that you can be seen promptly. Walk-in appointments are accepted, however, scheduled appointments will be given priority. If your pet requires emergency care, don't hesitate to call us or an emergency hospital. See the "Emergency Care" section below for more information.

Surgery
Elective surgeries including spays and neuters are commonly performed. A host of other surgeries ranging from lump removals to cruciate ligament repairs to bladder stone removals to splenectomies and many more are also performed by our trained surgeons. Schedule an exam with a doctor to discuss surgical options.
Dental Care
In addition to surgeries, we provide dental cleaning, scaling, and polishing under general anesthesia. In order to best serve the health interests of your pet, we require the patient to be anesthesized for this procedure.
Pharmacy
Within our hospital we have a fully stocked pharmacy which allows for quick, easy dispensal of medications for flea control and other pharmaceuticals. Following your pet's surgery, procedure, or office visit, you will be able to go home with the medication you need. Our pricing is competitive with online pharmacies and pet stores. Written perscriptions are available upon request.
In order to obtain a prescription refill, by law your pet must have been examined by a veterinarian on staff within the past year. Please call us to request an appointment for a physical if your pet has not had an exam in the past 12 months. Certain medications may also require further examination or lab work prior to a refill authorization.
Prescription Diet Food
Some medical conditions require special dietary needs. We keep a stock of prescription diet food for your pets with those needs. We offer the full line of Hill's Prescription Diets and Royal Canin products. If we do not have the food that you would like in stock, we will gladly order it for you and let you know the moment it arrives.
Boarding & Bathing
With separate facilities for both cats and dogs, we can provide a cozy home for your pet while you're away. In addition to cats and dogs, we also house exotics for boarding.
We also provide bathing services including standard, medicated, & hypoallergenic baths. Included in a bath, you will receive a complimentary nail trim and anal gland expression. To expedite the drop off process, please have the form below filled out prior to your arrival.
Vaccinations
We offer vaccinations every day of the week and at a discounted rate every Tuesday & Sunday. Our doctors will ensure that your pet has the proper immunizations.
Emergency Care
We have veterinarians and support staff on duty 7 days a week who are trained and equipped to handle any urgent pet care needs. Emergencies include snail/rat bait poisoning, a car accident involving your pet, chocolate ingestion, etc. If you ever feel that your pet needs emergency treatment do not hesitate to call.

Payment is due in full at the time services are rendered. At any time upon your request, an estimate will be provided for current and anticipated charges.
Northridge Veterinary Center offers discounted services to senior citizens and local area rescue groups. Pre-approval is required to qualify for the rescue group discounts; please call us for more information.
